I purchased 2 of these when they were on sale for $29.99. I was skeptical about how well these would work based on the price but the reviews convinced me to try them.
Installation was very simple with the supplied hooks and chains and took about 5 minutes each as I was able to use the outlet box for my garage door opener. The amount of light these provided compared to florescent lights is unbelievable. I will definitely be getting a few more of these when they are on sale again. Highly recommended.

As reviewer Derek also noted, the light I bought glows faintly when "off", so it's obviously using phantom power. I installed it above the garage door opener drive track near the inside of the door, where it gives good lighting of the rear of the vehicles and stays out of the way of the door when it's open.

Phantom Power Issue #2
When I was testing these lights I temporarily simply plugged them into the receptacles in the shop...
When the pull cord switch is pulled to turn ON, the light output is very good .
When the pull cord switch is pulled to turn OFF, the light output, some of the LED's have a glow.
Again, potential safety hazard?
Is power consumption in the OFF position acceptable?
Fortunately these lights in the ceiling will be wired to a normal switch on the wall at the entrance door (piece of mind)

So far very good, even in cold weather. Better quality light than fluorescent. The store was very good to deal with and exchanged one unit that did not work with no problem. I'm writing this review after making my decision based on reviews that were very helpful. We made our own light boxes with egg crate, because looking at the 4500 lumen strip directly hurt the eyes.
