Big Machine

A bit of a chore to put together, but sure makes the job of mixing cement an easier one, It does what it was designed to do. Can be used for blending soils for gardens too.

Great Deal when on sale.

No issues assembling mine, leave the instructions on the table. take the time to put it together, common sense will prevail. ... Well maybe for some. Ran 38 bags of Sakrete through it on the night of assembly, did not break a sweat. Handles 2 bags with ease. Quite happy for an " occasional use " tool.

McGyver Wanted

The instructions require a magnifying glass. The bolts are not uniform, do not align well with the parts list and most are far too short to accomodate a "springer" (lock) washer, regular washer and lock nut. The back plate and front cover plate for the motor assembly appear to have been machined in two different Chinese provinces as they do not align, so I am now re-drilling new pilot holes with a long drill bit. I spent about $ on the bit, new bolts, washers and lock nuts as some of my bolts were cross-threaded out of the box. The spring inside the handle was too long and therefore would not engage so I cut it to size. Its been a 2 day project running to the Hardware store and "McGyvering" solutions for poor manufacturing quality. I hope it works after all this. The instructions call for electrical connections, DON'T DO IT! The ground and wires are already connected even though the instructions say otherwise.
