I've had this garage for five years and I might get another two years out of it as it still looks good. I buried 10 inch cement building blocks into the ground where each tent leg goes and leveled the blocks. I then applied polyurethane caulk under the tent leg bases and fastened them to the blocks with masonry screws. To increase the life of the cover I apply Turtle Wax Ice (car wax) to the cover with a sponge mop on an extendable pole, a few times a year. This protects the cover from the sunlight and makes it slippery so it repels dirt, rain, snow and ice. I also installed vents on the back wall to keep the summer heat from building up at the ceiling and destroying the fabric. A friend of mine just removes the back wall panel in the summer and uses the garage as a carport. For the floor I just leveled the dirt, put down a tarp and covered it with patio stones with sand between them. Sure it's extra work but it keeps my vehicle out of the weather and saves on property taxes.

Frame is extremely sturdy. Cover is quite strong and secure initially. Survived 2 winters with heavy snow -without problem. Needed extra staking to keep building on ground in high winds - stakes that came in kit were not sufficient. Almost 2 years to the date I put it up the fabric totally disintegrated. Sun damage to top section made fabric come apart in my hands. Replacement cover kit from manufacturer costs $336 + taxes + shipping which seems high. Manufacturer says only expect 2 to 5 years life from standard cover. Will sell heavier duty cover for $1000.
